My Bucket List

In case you didn’t realise this from my 2016 goals post; I’m a very goal orientated person. I like lists, schedules and order. Having a target in mind always helps me to focus and be more productive and with all the excitement of a fresh new year ahead of us, I thought I would put some of my thoughts into a bucket list. Of course, many of these I won’t complete this year or even next year, but it’s exciting to have so many exciting ideas laid out in front of me. As I check things off the list, I hope to blog about them… so maybe some of these are cheeky hints about things you may be reading about here on my blog at some point! Let’s get on with the list…

  • Learn html
  • Go skiing
  • Visit Paris (read about it here!)
  • Learn to cook more complicated and exciting meals
  • Travel around Eastern Europe
  • Visit America
  • Learn how to use excel better
  • Visit Disneyland Paris
  • Hold a conversation in a foreign language without the other person realising I’m English
  • Run a half marathon
  • Write something that gets published
  • Get married
  • Have kids (at the moment I’m thinking 3…)
  • Take a trip in a hot air balloon
  • Get up early and eat pastries whilst watching the sun rise with someone I love
  • See the Northern Lights
  • Take a class totally unrelated to my degree to expand my mind
  • Take ballroom dancing classes
  • Travel to Asia or Africa – any continent with a culture very different to my own really!
  • Learn self-defence (I’m definitely not a violent person, but I want to know how to look after myself!)
  • Do something that changes someone’s life
  • Learn how to pray persistently for someone
  • Watch a Shakespeare play live at the Globe
  • Live Abroad (read about my year abroad experiences here!)

Have you written a bucket list? Anything you think I should add? The idea behind this is that I’ll update it as I go, so look out for that!

Lots of Love,

Abi xx
